ChaHee was admitted to practice law in California in 1999 and has over 20 years of experience handling a wide variety of civil litigation matters. As a native of Tokyo, Japan and fluent in Japanese, ChaHee has gained specialized knowledge and experience in the defense of Japanese companies and individuals involved in various U.S. civil litigation matters.
ChaHee began her legal career as a litigation associate with a boutique construction and business law firm in Los Angeles where she represented contractors in public works construction contract disputes, while also handling other litigation and business immigration matters. In more recent years, ChaHee has handled and successfully resolved numerous insurance defense cases involving tort liability, partnership disputes, employment disputes, contract disputes, and real property disputes.
Due to her native fluency in Japanese, ChaHee has managed teams of Japanese language document review attorneys on various electronic discovery projects. Prior to and during law school, ChaHee worked as an IP litigation paralegal in New York City and served as an extern for federal district judges in New York and Los Angeles.
